The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The food of one person is sufficient for two, and the food of two people is sufficient for four, and the food of four people is sufficient for eight.
Dua Before Eating
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللهِ
Bismillah wa ‘ala barakatillah.
In the name of Allah, and with the blessings of Allah.
Dua After Eating
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Alhamdulillahilladhi at’amana wa saqana wa ja’alana Muslimeen.
All praise is for Allah, who has fed us and provided for us, and made us Muslims.
Dua Before Drinking Milk
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
Allahumma barik lana feehi wa zidna minhu
O Allah, bless it for us and increase us in it.
